What makes SuperQuest unique?

SuperQuest is a professional development program for teachers that want to learn more about Computer Science and other computing disciplines.

Classes are taught by K-12 teachers who have previously successfully taught the same material to K-12 students.

Classes are specifically for K-12 teachers, creating a highly focused collaborative environment that promotes discussion about teaching methods, pedagogy, appropriate curriculum materials and classroom management.

SuperQuest provides an important opportunity to share best practice ideas and methods as well as collaborate with others trying to provide similar services to students.

Graduate credit is available from Western Oregon University. SuperQuest is a program of the Oregon Computer Science Teachers Association and is sponsored by The TechStart Foundation.

Visit TechStart.org/programs for more information on other computer science programs.

Computer Science Teachers Association

The Computer Science Teachers Association is a national organization that supports and promotes the teaching of computer science and other computing disciplines. CSTA provides opportunities for K-12 teachers and students to better understand the computing disciplines and to more successfully prepare themselves to teach and learn. http://csta.acm.org/
